The G logo concept is a derivative of an M.C. Escher geometric illusion. The G reinforces our Gray’s School of Art status and represents the ever evolving nature of our study into the Communication Design subjects and the visual challenges, problems and puzzles that we strive to find solutions to.
Design for Digital Media students from Gray’s School of Art at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, have been working in collaboration with STV to design and create a range of concepts for television ads.
Live projects, in which students work on real solutions for real industry partners, are an essential part of many of the courses Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, has to offer. A recent project coordinated by the Communication Design Programme on behalf of the Maritime Rescue Institute (MRI) has seen three students participate in a rebranding exercise.

The Communication Design course at Gray’s has recently created and implemented the Streetsport web site in partnership with RGU Sport.
Successive undergraduates from the course will now have the opportunity to assist with its ongoing development, giving each participant the opportunity to utilize the application of their design skills, methods and processes in collaboration with the project partners and the wider local community.
