This weekend held the Tea Cosy Christmas fair.
The fair was held at the Cowdry Hall, and it is easy to see why, the venue and work married perfectly together, creating a warm and creative atmosphere, aided by the live music too.
Tea Cosy featured 26 creative artists, makers and designers, as well as a prints booth by Peacocks Visuals Art, and a gift wrapping service by Gray’s School of Arts Gift Shop, featuring boxes, bags and tags created by Grays resident artists and designers.
Thanks to Adrian Reid for all the images

Tea Cosy is an alternative art, craft & design fair set out in the style of a tea party in a pop up location.
Our aim is to bring together creative talents from the north east and beyond to sell their wares at a unique event in Aberdeen.
This year we are once again joining forces with Peacock Visual Arts to bring you the Peacock Print shop, giving an opportunity
to see and buy prints produced over the last 37 years in the Peacock workshops.
The DIY tables will be popping up in collaboration with the Grays Art Materials Shop who will also be doing a spot of wrapping!
Create your own Christmas themed keepsake, using materials and expertise from the shop, for FREE!
Also, get your perfect Tea Cosy gift, wrapped and ready to pop under the tree. Choose from a variety of creative options, with all proceeds going to Children 1st.

Peter McCaughey is an artist based in Glasgow, who works internationally with a practice focused on the local. He describes his practice as people-centred, ideas-based work. His research is currently focused on landscape and memory, ritual, exchange, and how art and the artist might operate in relation to people in the public realm. His work is often site-related and time-specific. Sometimes the work is transient, involving film, video, outdoor projection, sound and light and storytelling; on other occasions the work is permanent, using more traditional materials and processes to explore experiential and conceptual ideas.
Through his recent work, he has been testing the contested role of the artist in the process of regenerating place. He regularly collaborates with artists, architects, engineers, writers, and community activists. To do this as effectively as possible, he established Wave, a small organisation set up five years ago to support and direct a team approach to large urban regeneration arts projects, public art commissions and various levels of consultation.
